FAQs
The “other guys” are almost always for-profit companies running a car donations program for one or more charities. Usually, the for-profit company retains the lion’s share of the proceeds of the sale of the vehicles at auction, with the charity receiving, in many instances, less than 10% of the donation. 100% of the net proceeds from vehicles donated via the 1-877-Charity Program are donated to the charity of the donor’s choice. (Normal towing and auction fees are deducted from proceeds). Compare Programs Here.
